Keros for Windows 11 (test build)

Keros keeps everything you copy (text, images, files, links) on this PC and
brings any of it back with Ctrl+Shift+V.

INSTALL

1. Right-click the zip, choose Properties, tick "Unblock" and press OK.
If you skip this, Windows warns that the app is unrecognised: choose
"More info", then "Run anyway". The app is not code-signed yet.
2. Extract the zip.
3. Double-click install.cmd.

Keros then runs in the tray and starts with Windows. It is also in the
Start menu, in case you quit it.

USE

Ctrl+Shift+V open your history (press it again, or Esc, to close)
type search; accents and small typos are forgiven
Enter paste into the app you were in
  Shift+Enter paste as plain text
Ctrl+1 to 9 paste the card with that number
  Ctrl+P pin a card to a pinboard

Browsers use Ctrl+Shift+V for "paste as plain text". While Keros runs, that
shortcut opens Keros instead; press Shift+Enter in Keros for plain text.
The shortcut can be changed under tray icon > Settings.

PRIVACY

Nothing leaves your PC: Keros has no network access. Copies from password
managers are never recorded. Pause it from the tray icon at any time.
Your history is stored in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Keros

UNINSTALL

Double-click uninstall.cmd. It asks before deleting your history.
